Rwanda Safer Internet initiative aims to promote safer and better Internet in Rwanda. it was created for all people in Rwanda who strongly believe that Internet should be a safe and better place for Children and young people to learn and Innovate.
Safer Internet Day
Every year, more than 170 countries celebrate Safer Internet Day to raise awareness of the importance of both a safer and a better internet, where everyone is empowered to use technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively. It aims to reach out to children and young people, parents and carers, teachers, educators and social workers, as well as industry, decision makers and politicians, to encourage everyone to play their part in creating a better internet for young People.
From cyberbullying to social networking to digital identity, each year Safer Internet Day aims to raise awareness of emerging online issues and current concerns.
Rwanda Safer Internet Day Committee
Rwanda SID Committee is a national Committee that works with Safer Internet Day Coordination Team, which is based at the heart of the European Union in Brussels and youth to ensure an evidence-based, multi-stakeholder approach to creating a better Internet.
